Baltic Workboats at Seawork 2016, berths VB31 and VB36

We will be exhibiting at the SEAWORK International 2016 Commercial Maritime Exhibition and Forum (www.seawork.com) held in Southampton, the United Kingdom from 14th to 16th of June 2016. You can find us at berths VB31 and VB36

This year we are proud to present two of our vessels:

1. A 15-metre wave-piercing pilot boat Pilot 1500 WP “AHTO-14”. She’s our latest addition to the all-weather wave-piercing craft family.

She has the overall length of 14.95 metres and her maximum beam is 4,50 metres. Due to owner’s request, she also has a rescue capability with a hydraulic rescue platform in the aft of the vessel. Therefore special attention was also paid to keep her draft down at only 0,85 metres. Another matter what we spent a lot of energy was to re-design the whole wheelhouse windshield concept to maximize visibility and thereby add safety to pilot’s dangerous working environment.

AHTO-14 is powered by twin Volvo Penta D13MH marine diesel engines, each 368 kW @ 1800 rpm, using ZF 325-1 marine transmissions to propel her maximum speed above 27 knots through a pair of FPP.

AHTO-14 will be located at Seawork berth VB36. See Pilot 1500 WP details at our website by clicking here
2. A 20-metre wave-piercing boat Pilot 2000 WP “AHTO-15” adapted to work as a crew transfer boat at offshore wind farms.

Her wave-piercing hull design allows much lower vertical accelerations together with excellent sea keeping performance on high seas. This is gained mainly because of using slender hull lines together with a special bow and double chains. Featured half tunnels together with big rudders are intensifying maneuverability of boat on slow speeds in narrow port areas.

This self-righting boat is powered by twin Volvo Penta D16MH engines, each 552 kW @ 1900 rpm, using ZF 665 marine transmissions to propel her maximum speed of 31 knots through a pair of 5-blade FPP.

AHTO-15 will be located at Seawork berth VB31. See Pilot 2000 WP details at our website by clicking here.
Baltic Workboats boasts an extensive portfolio of customized solutions for law enforcement and commercial sector vessels that are used throughout Europe and beyond.

We are looking forward to meeting you at SEAWORK 2016!
