This all aluminium multipurpose boat has a maximum speed of 22 knots and will be used for customs inspections mainly in Antwerpen port areas.
The boat has a length of 14,7 m, width 4,3 m, and maximum draft 1,29 m.
This boat is designed for boarding and inspecting small crafts and river vessels and is therefore featuring very low freeboard and low draft.
New hull design provides enhanced maneuverability and fuel efficiency across various operating conditions. Requirement to minimized wave generating and low noise level on working deck is also followed. Vessel displayed very low vertical acceleration values and supreme seakeeping capabilities during seatrials on stormy Baltic sea with wave height reaching up to three meters.
Flexible mounted wheelhouse ensures reduced vibration and lowered noise level in working premices. As a result noise level at full speed in the wheelhouse was measured 62 dB, well below the 75dB requirement from the specification.
Wheelhouse is equipped with 3 shock mitigation seats for crew and 4 same type seats for inspectors or pilots.
Deck and railing heating system has been implemented on the vessel to ensure safe operations for crew in subzero temperatures.
The propulsion package includes: twin Volvo-Penta D9 diesel engines rated for 261kW at 2,200rpm, ZF 286 marine gears, and five blade fixed pitch propellers.
At a cruising speed of 16 knots, the vessel will have an operational range of over 260nm.
