Baltic Workboats continually seeks improvements in hull efficiency to achieve an optimum balance between comfort, speed and efficiency over the required loading conditions and manoeuvrability.
Noise level inside the wheelhouse of the vessel has been achieved 60 dB while making full speed.
The vessels is powered by two Volvo Penta D16C-CMH 551 kW engines driving five blade FPP propellers.
„Mare“ design is based on Baltic Workboats successful 24 meter Baltic 2400 platform, which has been successfully operating in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Northern Ireland since 2008. The same platform is also basis for the Swedish Coast Guard’s 26,5 m, KBV 312 series vessels. Building of one more sister vessel of KBV 312 for Lithuanian Border Guard has just commenced in Baltic Workboats Nasva yard.
