Flotte Hamburg new 24-meter hybrid police patrol boat was recently model tested in the Hamburg Ship Model Basin.
In addition to conventional resistance test, the concept was also evaluated regarding the seakeeping and in respect of performance in side waves to verify the hull’s performance under all conditions and guarantee an ergonomic working environment for the crew.
The 29-meter hybrid police patrol boat for Flotte Hamburg will undergo similar tests in the near future.
The hybrid patrol boats will be built in Baltic Workboats shipyard and are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2024.
