The vessel is supplied with two independent propulsion units. Power is transferred from Volvo Penta D13 main diesel engines trough ZF gearbox to shaft lines and FPP propellers
The propulsion configuration also allows to sail with only one (1) engine towards a safe harbor in case of an emergency. This means that lubrication will be provided on the shaft line and gearbox, as these will turn in the wake of the vessel.
The engine rooms are as roomy as possible for allowing the easy access all around the propulsion engines, the peripheral equipment, filters and all the required pumps.
